Project details: Internal and external stone repairs following fire damage to a Church.

St Augustine's Chapel

This is the fifth fire damaged church our team have undertaken restoration work on. This project included replacement window jambs and arches in Top Bed Stoke Bathstone and other repairs to windows. We supplied and fitted a new Bathstone cross to the external elevations. We undertook re-ordering works involving new chancel steps and ramp whilst retaining the existing sanctuary area which was renovated. We supplied and laid a new chequered chancel floor in Blue Stone and Carrara marble along with new Portland Steps. We rebuilt the pulpit along with new Portland steps. We renovated 3 old marble memorials that were on the internal walls for the church, involving removal of old iron fixings and re-fixing with stainless steel, cleaning off smoke damage, piecing into damaged areas and re-painting lettering.
